Websites for Clinics
Dental, physio and aesthetics clinics: bookings at any hour, and patients who book with you rather than through a directory.

The objection
“Patients already find us through the booking directories.”
And they book there, in a shop window you do not own: next to other clinics, under its rules and its fees. Your own site, linked to your Google Business Profile, is where a patient who has already found you books with you directly, and the directory becomes one channel rather than the only one.
“Healthcare cannot be advertised like any other business.”
It can, within limits: no promised results or cures, care with testimonials and before-and-after photos, and in the UK no prescription-only medicines such as Botox advertised to the public. What persuades a patient is not a promise anyway: it is seeing who will treat them, what the treatment involves and what the first appointment costs.
“Our patients would rather phone.”
Many would, and the number dials in one tap from every page. But someone searching at 11pm with toothache cannot ring, and if they cannot book then, they book somewhere else. With online booking that appointment is waiting for you in the morning instead of going to another clinic.
“With patient data involved, we would rather not touch the website.”
It is usually the other way round: the risk is an old site with a form that asks for symptoms in free text and emails them. The new one asks only for what it needs to book, with no medical history and no health details, and clinical information stays in your practice software, where it belongs.

Questions
How much does a clinic website cost?
From £49 per month, all in: design, domain, hosting, maintenance and changes such as a new treatment, new opening hours or a practitioner joining. One-off setup runs £150-£300 depending on how many treatments and practitioners you want to show. If your booking software needs connecting, you get a fixed price before we start. No long contracts.
Can patients book online from the site?
Yes. If your practice software takes online bookings, we connect it so patients see free slots and book without ringing; if not, a request form reaches you straight away and you confirm the appointment. Either way, the patient searching at 11pm books at 11pm, instead of waiting for the morning and ringing another clinic.
What about patient health data?
Health data is a special category under the GDPR and the UK GDPR, so the site asks only for what it needs to book: a name, a way to reach the patient and the type of appointment, with no symptoms and no medical history. Clinical information stays in your practice software, not in the website inbox. Your privacy notice has to describe how your clinic handles that data, so your adviser or data protection officer signs it off; this is not legal advice.
What can a clinic website say, and what not?
Healthcare advertising is regulated in both the UK and Spain: no promised results or cures, limits on testimonials and before-and-after photos (always with the consent of the patient), and in the UK no prescription-only medicines such as Botox advertised to the public. Your regulator - the GDC, GMC or HCPC in the UK, your colegio in Spain - may ask for more, such as registration numbers on the site. We build within those limits, but check the specifics with them; this is not legal advice.
How should we answer a bad Google review?
Politely, and without confirming the person is a patient or mentioning their treatment: that alone discloses health data. A short reply that invites them to talk in private protects the clinic, and it is what the next patient comparing clinics reads.
How long does it take?
Most sites are ready in 1-2 weeks. If booking software needs connecting, the timing depends on it, and you get it with the price.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Thirty days notice, no exit fees, and the domain is yours to keep.
